Northwestern Technical University offers educational programs for citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of foreign countries at the bachelor's and magister's levels.
Training can take place in full-time, distance and mixed formats.
The duration of study under bachelor's degree programs for citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of foreign countries who speak Russian sufficiently to complete the degree is 4 years and 6 months. In this case, the training is conducted in Russian.
If the applicant already has a specialized secondary professional education, training at the University can take place according to an individual curriculum.
For foreign citizens who require additional study of the Russian language, the study period will be 5 years and 6 months.
In this case, the training takes place according to an extended program with the study of the Russian language for 1-6 semesters. Semester 1-4 basic subjects can be taught in English or in other languages upon request.
In this case, it is also possible to switch to an individual curriculum based on the student's personal application.
If a foreign student has successfully completed the first 3-4 semesters of study at NWTU, has mastered the Russian language sufficiently, then he can continue his studies at one of our partner universities. Northwestern Technical University cooperates with a number of educational institutions of the Russian Federation in other areas of study. The list of such educational institutions and the proposed curricula will be published separately in the spring of 2025. The conditions of transfer to other universities are agreed individually.
